Confident
Achieving business success requires an entrepreneur to maintain a positive mental attitude toward business and the discipline to stick with it. Successful entrepreneurs recognize that their most valuable resource is their time, and they learn to manage it effectively to make themselves and their companies more productive.
Time Management
Here are six terrific truths about time:
First: Nobody can manage time. But you can manage those things that take up your time.
Second: Time is expensive. As a matter of fact, 80 percent of our day is spent on those things or those people that only bring us two percent of our results.
Third: Time is perishable. It cannot be saved for later use.
Fourth: Time is measurable. Everybody has the same amount of time...pauper or king. It is not how much time you have; it is how much you use.
Fifth: Time is irreplaceable. We never make back time once it is gone.
Sixth: Time is a priority. You have enough time for anything in the world, so long as it ranks high enough among your priorities.
Sharing
Live boldly. Laugh Loudly. Love Truly.
Play as often as you can
Work as smart as you are able.
Share your heart as deeply as you can reach.
-Mary Anne Radmacher
No one has ever become poor by giving.
-Anne Frank
You can't live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you.
-John Wooden
Presence
People with presence look confident and comfortable, speak clearly and , think clearly even under pressure. They act with intention. People with presence reflect on their emotions, attitudes, and situations and then adapt. They accept responsibility for themselves and the results they achieve. People with presence are real. They present their genuine character authentically.
Perfect Vs Imperfect
It's a bit difficult to say what is perfect and what is imperfect, but the result of the action will tell you whether it is a perfect action or not.
If the result of that action brings benefit to all people involved with it—to the person who performs the action and to the person who enjoys the benefit of the action—without bringing harm to anybody, then it's a perfect action.
If the action is going to bring harm even to one individual or if it's going to build up tension in your own mind, then it's not a perfect action.
It's the motive behind the action and the result of the action that will decide whether an action is perfect or imperfect.

Obstacles
People who have overcome obstacles are more secure than those who have never faced them. We all have problems and we feel discouraged some time. Most people get disappointed; but winners don't get disheartened. The answer is perseverance. An English proverb says, "A smooth sea never made a skilful mariner." Everything is difficult before it becomes easy. We cannot run away from our problems. Only losers quit and give up.

Tears
There is a sacredness in tears.
They are not the mark of weakness, but of power.
They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues.
They are messengers of overwhelming grief...and unspeakable love.
- Washington Irving
Those who don't know how to weep with their whole heart, don't know how to laugh either
- Golda Meir
Tears and laughter cleanse the heart.

Critics Are Everywhere
There's an old saying - and I believe it's true - "Nobody has ever erected a statue to a critic." Davy Crockett had a simple motto which said, "Make sure you're right - then go ahead." The reality is, all of us have faced our own moments (sometimes much longer than that) of criticism.
No matter what your career or occupation, the more successful you become, the more criticism you are likely to receive. Some of that criticism is based on jealousy; some will come from those who don't understand your objectives, and some from those who make a habit of finding fault like there was a reward for it. Actually, only those who don't attempt anything will remain above criticism.

Failure
Justifying a fault doubles it.
Life's greatest failure--trying to please everyone.
A man can fail many times, but he isn't a failure until he begins to blame others for his failures.
A man doesn't become a failure until he is satisfied with being one.
In every soul is deposited the germ of a great future.
The Awakened One
I just miss the bus and curse, losing my patience in the rain. Pulling my collar up I walk to try and soothe my temper. An old man passes safe and dry underneath a wide umbrella. Not a single drop marks his suit while I am soaked right through.
He carries slowly on down the road, while I make a mad dash for cover. He looks across at me and smiles. I glare at him, and still he smiles.I swear at him, but still he smiles. I give up and smile, he starts to laugh. “Good,” he says, “Now, don’t forget,” pointing up at the umbrella,
“Be prepared and stay aware, you never know when it’s going to rain.”
Things to Remember
- It is more honorable to acknowledge our faults than to boast of our merits.
- The three hardest words to say are, "I was mistaken."
- Some of the best lessons we ever learned, we learned from our mistakes and failures.
- One who determines to love only those who are faultless will soon find himself alone.
- Failure comes to those who indifferently allow themselves to become failure-conscious.
Honest Optimism based on Personal Endeavors (HOPE) by Zig Ziglar
Hope. There is something we can do to have hope. Is hope really that important? Martin Luther said that everything that is done in the world is done by hope. John Lubbock said that hope should be classed as virtue, along with faith and character. Alexander said that hope is the true inheritance of all that resolve upon great enterprises. We could also think of it in this light: A person without hope will take no action. The student who has no hope of passing will not study; the salesperson with no hope of making the sale won't make the call. Hope is the starting point for accomplishment.
Home
A house is not a home unless it contains food and fire for the mind as well as the body.
- Benjamin Franklin
A house is made of walls and beams;
A home is built with love and dreams.
- Anonymous
The ache for home lives in all of us, the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned.
- Maya Angelou
Home is our sanctuary, where we:
relax into being ourselves, play with our inner child, paint the walls green and pink, dig in the dirt, grow something, love somebody else, love ourselves even more, snuggle with a warm blanket on a Sunday afternoon, hang "go away" on the door whenever we want, clean and tidy often... or never, launch from and return to, are truly ourselves.
- jlhCompetition Vs Cooperation
If you want to be incrementally better: Be competitive.
If you want to be exponentially better: Be cooperative.
- Anonymous
Competition has been shown to be useful up to a certain point and no further, but cooperation, which is the thing we must strive for today, begins where competition leaves off.
- Franklin D. Roosevelt
The choice is to work alone to be a little more successful than the next person,or to work together for the great betterment of humanity. Moreover, Cooperation is less stressful than competition. Do you ever question why our educational system teaches competition rather than cooperation?

Know Your Priorities
It’s essential to keep in mind what matters most to you. People often take too many tasks and end up doing slipshod work or not finishing the job.
One way to keep everything in line is to make lists.
Before going to sleep, make a list of things you know are absolutely essential. This summarizes the next day’s important activities.
Simplicity is the best policy, so try and keep things as simple as possible. Make the list on paper. You can put it on your computer or PDA in the morning, which will refresh your memory and give you direction. Keep it short. Too many goals will drain your energy.
Schedule time for FUN
When you’re busy and your schedule is packed, you can forget to schedule time for fun into your calendar. Make it a habit to look ahead and block out regular time for family dinners, trips to the park, visits with friends, seeing a funny movie, and doing fun things alone and with others. Having fun keeps you healthy, happy, and rejuvenated.
Never Give Up
A fishing boat overturned and a very fit 22 year old football player died. BUT, his 68 year old grandmother survived.
Afterwards they interviewed the grandmother and asked "how was it that your grandson who was so much fitter died?"
And she goes " I wasn't going to give up".
"I was NOT going to die".You got to have a fierce will to live. You just got to never give up.The WILL to survive is the most critical thing. For us to make it through we must never give up.

There is no substitute for hard work
Now-a-days there are many people who have introduced the concept of ‘smart work’ rather than ‘hard work’. Though in certain situations it is true that smart work helps but the age old saying that ‘there is no substitute for hard work’ remains applicable even today. It is hard work that leads a child to attain knowledge and perform well. Be it his hobby, his passion or his academic, without hard work, the fruits of success are far away. There are so many people who have brilliant ideas but because of laziness they do not execute their ideas and thus lose out on so many opportunities.Hence hard work and ideating both are equally important for success!
Yoga for Self Acceptance
Practicing Yoga asanas (postures) is very different from practicing other physical exercises – not only does Yoga help the body, but it also enriches the mind. All of us suffer from insecurities, due to issues we have with ourselves. In order to live a healthy, fulfilled life, it is important to accept our imperfections and learn to accept ourselves.
Exercise your "Brain"
Exercising your brain can improve memory and reduce the risk of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, according to medical studies.
• Challenge your brain by doing old routines in new ways. Brush your teeth with your other hand. Take a new route to work.
• Do crossword puzzles or other brain-teasers.
• Learn a new language.
• Learn a new computer program.
• Practice or take up playing a musical instrument.
Life's Struggles
A man found a cocoon of an emperor moth. He took it home so that he could watch the moth come out of the cocoon. On the day a small opening appeared, he sat and watched the moth for several hours as the moth struggled to force the body through that little hole.
Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no farther. It just seemed to be stuck. Then the man, in his kindness, decided to help the moth, so he took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The moth then emerged easily.
But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the moth because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the little moth spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.
What the man in his kindness and haste did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the moth to get through the tiny opening was the way of forcing fluid from the body of the moth into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon. Freedom and flight would only come after the struggle. By depriving the moth of a struggle, he deprived the moth of health.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If we were to go through our life without any obstacles, we would be crippled.
We would not be as strong as what we could have been. Give every opportunity a chance, leave no room for regrets.

The Teacher
There is a story about a king in ancient times who wanted to honour a person one who made the greatest contribution to society. All kinds of people came, including doctors and entrepreneurs, and they all presented their case for receiving the honour. The king wasn't impressed.
Finally an elderly person with a glow on his face walked in and said he was a teacher. The king came down from his throne and bowed to honour the teacher. It is the teacher who makes the highest contribution in shaping the future of society.
Ego
The ego lives by comparisons...
- A Course in Miracles
Comparisons are odious.
- Old English Saying
A man's pride shall bring him low,
but honor shall uphold the humble in spirit.
We take refuge in pride because we are afraid to tell the truth to ourselves.
- Kakuzo Okakura
வளர்ச்சி
நம்மை நாமே கடந்து செல்வதுதான் வளர்ச்சி.
நமக்குள்ளேயே அடுத்த தலைமுறையை அடையாளம் காண்பதுதான் முன்னேற்றம்.
LEARN FROM MISTAKES
Thomas Edison tried two thousand different materials in search of a filament for the light bulb. When none worked satisfactorily, his assistant complained,“All our work is in vain. We have learned nothing.”
Edison replied very confidently, “Oh, we have come a long way and we have learned a lot. We now know that there are two thousand elements which we cannot use to make a good light bulb.”
Where there's a will there's a way
Where there's a will, there's a way.
- old English proverb
Courage and perseverance have a magical talisman, before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into air.
- John Quincy AdamsYou must do the things you think you cannot do.
- Eleanor Roosevelt
Sometimes success requires persistence and hard work. Sometimes an ingenious new approach is needed. Or it may be time for a whole new beginning. Think, and choose wisely whether to try harder or to try something new.
Mother’s Love
A little boy came up to his mother in the kitchen one evening while she was fixing supper, and handed her a piece of paper that he had been writing on. After his Mom dried her hands on an apron, she read it, and this is what it said:
For cleaning up my room this week: Rs.1.00
For going to the store for you: Rs.1.00
Taking out the garbage: Rs.1.00For getting a good report card: Rs.5.00
For cleaning up and raking the yard: Rs.2.00
Total owed: Rs.15.00
Well, his mother looked at him standing there, and the boy could see the memories flashing through her mind. She picked up the pen, turned over the paper he'd written on, and this is what she wrote:
For the nine months I carried you while you were growing inside me: No Charge
For all the nights that I've sat up with you, doctored and prayed for you: No Charge
For all the trying times, and all the tears that you've caused through the years: No Charge
For all the nights that were filled with dread and for the worries I knew were ahead: No Charge
For the toys, food, clothes, and even wiping your nose: No Charge
Son, when you add it up, the cost of my love is: No Charge.
When the boy finished reading what his mother had written, there were big tears in his eyes, and he looked straight at his mother and said, "Mom, I sure do love you." And then he took the pen and in great big letters he wrote: "PAID IN FULL".
